Opuntia microdasys commonly known as Bunny Ears cactus or Angel's Wings cactus is a species of cactus native to Mexico. It is a small compact plant that grows up to 30 cm (12 inches) in height and up to 60 cm (24 inches) in width. The cactus has a distinctive feature of having two small ear-like pads (hence the name "Bunny Ears") protruding from the main pads.
The plant produces bright yellow flowers and edible purple or red fruit that are used in jams or as a snack. The Bunny Ears cactus is commonly grown as an indoor plant due to its low maintenance requirements and unique appearance. It is also a popular plant to propagate as the pads can easily be rooted in soil and grown into new plants.
